Turn Claude Code into a full agency
A free team of specialist AI agents. Install once, call the right one for each job.

What it is
The Agency (github.com/msitarzewski/agency-agents) is a free, open-source collection of specialist AI agents, with over 160,000 stars on GitHub and an MIT license. Each agent is a role with its own focus, workflow and deliverables: engineering, design, marketing, sales, support, security, testing, product, project management and more. It works with Claude Code, and also with Cursor, Gemini CLI, Codex and other tools.
What you need
The Claude desktop app with Claude Code, and about 5 minutes. Claude does the install for you.
Steps
Step 1. Paste this into Claude (Code tab, any folder)
Install The Agency from https://github.com/msitarzewski/agency-agents for Claude Code.
Follow its README: clone it and run ./scripts/install.sh --tool claude-code
so the agents land in ~/.claude/agents/.
Show me the list of teams you installed, then tell me which agents fit my kind of work.Only want some teams? Add this line: "Install only the engineering and marketing divisions."
Step 2. Call a specialist
Name the agent in your request:
Use the Frontend Developer agent to build a responsive pricing section for my site.Use the Security Engineer agent to review this project and list the top risks, most serious first.Use the Growth Hacker agent to plan my first 30 days of launch on Instagram.Step 3. Make them work together
Plan my landing page with the Product Manager agent, design it with the UI Designer agent,
build it with the Frontend Developer agent, then have the Code Reviewer agent check it.
Show me the plan first and wait for my OK.Good to know
- The agents are instructions, not magic. Give each one a clear task and the files it needs.
- Start with two or three agents you actually need, then add more.
- Read an agent's file before you rely on it for anything that touches money, security or customers.
You need the Claude desktop app with Claude Code (any paid plan, Pro is enough). For setup we recommend Opus 5.5.
